Do not hesitate to make *manual* requests to tiles at home (as opposed to
automatic requesting via scripts or similar) currently the
infrastructure allows for quite a bit more (re-)rendering as what is
requested.
This goes for the OSM database (for map data), the dev (tile-) server
and especially for the amount of clients waiting for renderjobs.

Just don't re-request a tile too often. (Give it time to render)
Don't drown out the queue with automatic requests
maybe keep an eye on the current queue[1] to help you decide.
