If anyone is interested there's a set of 1935 large scale maps of
Sheffield available at

- useful for looking up street names.

also, less usefully, a fake "WMS" server that you can add to the JOSM
WMS plugin at
http://www.ponies.me.uk/maps/npe2wgs/serve_wms.php?

Because of the age of these maps its not unknown for them to differ
from the reality on the ground, so take a bit of care when using them.
