there are some, but I don'T know if they are interested in hiking :) .

The same in the north, except that valleys aren't *that* steep sided and 
peaks aren't that high.
If you plan a holiday of one week, I'd also like to recommend to visit 
Strasbourg. A very nice town, 1h by car or train, and barely 
mapped :) .

There are some pages describing hiking routes, some including GPS 
tracks. Most of them are available in german only, though. No prob, I 
can prepare the routes.
