[OSM-talk] Incorrect Downloading of GPS Points in JOSM

First time posting here, so here goes:

I've got myself a Magellan eXplorist 600, and have been taking track logs
using this. I convert the logs to GPX using the latest version ( 0.2.6.1 )
of GPSBabelGUI, then upload them to osm through the web interface. Then I
try to download them back into JOSM (build 235), but they get all messed up.
If I try opening the GPX file right off my hard drive into JOSM, then the
data points come up fine. I know that I could get around this by not
uploading the gpx through the web interface, load them into josm, create the
ways, then upload just the ways, but my plan was to do lots of data
collecting over a period of a couple weeks and put the raw data points on
the web so other people can edit as well. The points were uploaded after the
api 0.4 was implemented on the servers. Does anybody else have this problem?

A picture of the web interface, showing that the gpx files are uploading and
being read properly:

A picture of the raw points loaded from hard drive into josm:

Picture of josm with the points loaded from osm servers (api 0.4):

Thanks for the help

Adam
