The rendering of the Mapnik layer on the slippy map has caught up with
the backlog of requests. New tiles entering the re-render queue are now
being processed within a minute or two.

The rendering is being done against the planet-070509.osm with the SVN
osm.xml file.

The rules for tiles being re-rendered are on the Slippy_Map wiki page
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Slippy_Map

"Every few minutes a daemon re-renders 1,000 tiles which are dirty.
      * A tile can only be marked dirty if it is older than a week.
      * Whenever you look at a tile it's checked if it is older than a
        week.
              * If it is older than a week then it is marked dirty (and
                thus rendered)."
