As it happens I've already used the hazard tag, albeit for some slightly 
unconventional things which could be of interst to walkers...

tag k="hazard" v="plant";  - dangerous plant
and IIRC
tag k="hazard" v="animal"; tag k="species" v="bovine" (over aggressive cows)
