Excellent. Frederik, a big thank you.  I downloaded namefinder.jar and it works perfectly and does pretty much all I want to do already.  It will make a very useful tool for making small corrections / additions to areas we do not normally map in.

Don't forget to enable the plugin under Edit > Preferences > Plugins.
