I don't know - I'm leaving it to each country to work out how their
networks equate to the main cycle tags - I don't read German for a
start, never mind have any idea how things work over there, so I keep
out of it! Same with Sweden, the Netherlands, the US and everywhere
else - my advice to everyone so far has been to dive in, start
tagging, and don't worry about things too much, since it's easy to
change things later if needs be.

Most cycle routes are quite "touristy" (a notable exception for me is
the London Cycle network, which seems happy to direct you onto major
roads ;-) ). I looked at the wikipedia page, and given the lengths of
those routes they seem similar to our Regional routes or maybe even
National routes in their own right - so maybe use rcn? I'll leave it
up to you, but if you use an existing tag they'll show up straight
away :-)
