[OSM-talk] Uploading Data in New Zealand

Hi,

We've got together a few people down here in New Zealand and we're looking to contribute to OSM. We've got access to loads of data from Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) which is provided free without restriction under crown copyright here in NZ. 

I'm looking for some advice about the best way to bulk seed the OSM database with this data - has anyone else been through a similar process. We can process the data into most common GIS formats if this helps? 

We're looking to use this as the basis for OSM coverage in New Zealand and concentrate our manual efforts on improving the dataset. 

Any advice would be appreciated
