[OSM-talk] Mass adding 8000 populated places in Italy

Hello everybody,

I live in Italy, as you can see my country is not very active in 
OSM.

I'm contributing my GPX traces, but I find annoying that there 
are too few points of populated places.

I have the points of about 8000 populated places, all free data. 
I managed to convert into a JOSM layer, as you can see from this 
page:

http://www.rigacci.org/wiki/doku.php/tecnica/gps_cartografia_gis/osm

What do you think about uploading all them? Just in case of 
something go wrong, it is feasible a mass rollback?
