Last year, I tried to organize a mapping weekend in Växjö, Sweden,
but only one more person showed up. I had started to plan another
one, but decided to postpone it exactly one year. So this
weekend, we met in Västerås and a total of 5 people attended.
Three of us (LA2 = myself, sandos, Leojth) were here already on
Friday evening, and two more (MikeCollinson, jth) joined on
Saturday. We had good weather, mapping by car, bicycle and foot.
Just before 2pm on Sunday we split up.
All tracks are not yet uploaded, and we'll need plenty more time
in JOSM before the map is ready. Even though the map of Västerås
will still be incomplete, I think we have more than doubled the
detail of what was there before. Photos and other details should
appear within short on

Västerås is a town of 107,000 (Sweden's 5th largest), some 110 km
west of Stockholm, and home to electrical equipment manufacturer
ASEA, which has now been part of ABB for twenty years.
