I don't recall anything at SOTM, perhaps I was asleep again. Such an
initiative would be of interest for folks wrestling with dial-up access too.
I'm grindingly slowly developing a PDA C#/.NET application - I've got
the logger part and the ability to create OSM POI nodes working and
have been playing with OSM data display. I think though that
Java-based development would be more applicable - more platforms and
the possibility to tie in with JOSM and the GPS unit module.
