I have the same rfcomm.conf as you, only other mac-adress. Checked if
it's really chanel 1 by
$ sdptool records 00:15:7F:00:50:B7
Service Name: SPP slave
Service RecHandle: 0x10000
Service Class ID List:
  "Serial Port" (0x1101)
Protocol Descriptor List:
  "L2CAP" (0x0100)
  "RFCOMM" (0x0003)
    Channel: 1

hmm, better find myself more about that.

> gpsd -b -N -D 2 /dev/rfcomm0
'-b' is non-existent on my ubuntu dis.
$ gpsd -N -D 2 /dev/rfcomm0
.....
gpsd: device open failed: Connection refused
gpsd: GPS device /dev/rfcomm0 nonexistent or can't be read

$ cat /dev/rfcomm0
cat: /dev/rfcomm0: Connection refused

I was wondering if you use a pin and if so how you handle it ?

Thx, Rik
