[OSM-talk] mapping party uploads and renedering

The GPX traces, when uploaded to OSM just sit there as reference
material for mapping. Themselves, they are not rendered at all.
Data entered into OSM as a result of these GPX traces will not get
rendered on the mapnik layer until sometime after wednesday.
The Tiles at Home osmarender layer can be rendered on request, but the
render queue is now also automatically seeded from recent changes to
the OSM dataset, so in most cases, the manual request is not required.

There have been some interesting GPX trace rendering tools announced
here recently, I cannot fetch the links offhand at the moment.
