Is there a portable version of that?  It would be nice to try running it in a 
tiles at home-like setup, but the SRTM2OSM page says "You need to have 
Microsoft .NET 2.0 installed on your computer in order to run Srtm2Osm."

(alternatively, are there any windows-users who'd be interested in developing 
such an application?)
