I dont know how difficult is to set up another request queue for
"windows-based contour line rendering clients" coordination, but modifying
t at h client to run srtm2osm.exe with right params instead of downloading data
from OSM should be easy (something similar was done for countour line (topo
layer) at www.freemap.sk, used map-features styles are available at
http://svn.moonbase.sk/FreemapSlovakiaDiSK/features/topo/ )...
freemap.sk contour lines are in PNG because of transparency, and area of
slovakia (bbox [47.5 , 16.8] - [49.5 , 22.5]) for zoom level z12 to z16
requires about 3.5 GB of disk space :S
