My one thought on one instance where it might be a bad thing:

1) The extra data is redundant, and for anyone trying to use the maps on a 
memory constrained device (GPS, PocketPC, Palm, etc) this inflates the 
size of the map without providing useful data. I suspect that the 
copyright line wouldn't even be readable on most devices anyway, since it 
appears to mostly render as dark grey on a light grey background - not 
much use if you've got 16 colours or fewer in the palette as it will be 
dithered into illegibility.

The upgrade looks very nice otherwise, though - thanks for all the work!
