In some places that restriction is relaxed (within osmarender itself
at some point IIRC), however, JOSM doesn't handle this. When segments
are removed from the DB this problem goes away also (since then the
direction is determined by the way, and not by the non-existant
segment).

So don't worry to much about the segment direction, in the long tern
it will fix itself.
