Strange, I'm sure I checked that it was an linear feature when I created
it but it seems that I was wrong.

Eh, no lock gates or such there. Thanks for redrawing, I'm quite happy
with it. It just looks a bit wired rendered with osmarender because of
the bezier-curves. I thought there was a tag to tell osmarender not to
use bezier-curves for that one way but I was not able to find this yet.
And: Is there a reason, the dock is not connected to the river?
Optically this is not a problem but think of navigation programs (ok,
rather rare for boats and nautical navigation) which only create routes
of connected segs or ways.
