Hi,
I'm pleased to annouce the release of Viking 0.9.2.
Viking is a GPS data analyzer/editor that is able to draw GPS data on
top of online downloaded maps (Google, Terraserver, OpenStreetMap).
This new version is particularly interesting for OSM community as it allows:
- to display data on top of the maps provided by OSM (Mapnik, Maplint, T at H)
- to upload data to OSM directly from Viking.
So, you're able to prepare your trips using the OSM's map.
It is also usefull to check, remove erroneous points and upload GPX
data, all in one application.
But take care, Viking is not an OSM's application. All data displayed
by Viking (like the Google layer) are not usable to picking data and
uploading it OSM: it's not legal. Simply use
