This would be very easy to set up on a serparate site:
Openlayers is good at displaying an geoRSS feed as markers. Go to http://openlayers.org/dev/examples/georss.html and enter any geoRSS URL in the box, eg the flickr UFO sitings: http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/geo/?tags=ufo&lang=en-us&format=rss_200

You see a list of markers where people sighted UFO. Easy. All you need is a site where people can enter their error reports with a lat/lon and export that list as geoRSS. www.openstreetmap.org or infofreeway could then have a layer displaying those markers where corrections need to be made.

It could even be possible to integrate this in our trac installation (which can produce RSS feeds), so people could report "data bugs" using our existing infrastructure.
