Yes, just use `java -jar dist/mkgmap.jar --gmapsupp map1.img map2.img
[...]'. and a gmapsupp.img will be created containing all of the maps
you supplied.

.tdb is to tell garmin mapsource which .img files makeup the mapset.
You don't need it unless you're using mapsource.
