[OSM-talk] How do you respond to talk posts so that that they fit correctly into the thread structure in talk archive?

Starting from the wrong message ;)
Each message has it's own ID, so if you do not reply to a message with the 
same ID then the treading is broken. Digests have their own id's so can't be 
linked to the different one's of the original messages.
