[OSM-talk] Image Understanding of satellite images for aiding mapping process

To whom it may concern,

I wonder if anyone has attempted to use an Image Understanding program
to extract the street data or at least corroborate it from satellite
images.  The only free Image Understanding system I know of is Freedius:
