Sorry I wasn't clear about the Garmin bit. The GPX file is produced by 
sending the route nodes back to the server who generates the GPX 
download file which causes (or should cause) the browser to open a 'save 
file' popupbox. The user needs to put the gpx file on the Garmin device 
manually. I had no actual plans to integrate the Garmin webconnector.
