No problem at Wikipedia

The problem is, that I want to find these pages. I do not know them.
The one in the example I found by chance. In this case I want to find
users who have the word "ostfriesland" on their user page in order to
organise a local meeting in Ostfriesland, which is the name of a
german region:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Ostfriesland
People who live there, will identify with it and there is great
chance, that the word will occur on their userpage.

And what could be done to fix it?
