[OSM-talk] New planet mirror

Hi,

    GWDG, a computing centre pooling IT services for the Max Planck
society and the University of Goettingen in Germany and operators of one
of the best-known German FTP mirrors of free and open software, has
kindly offered to mirror all of planet.openstreetmap.org as well as the
Europe and Germany extracts from download.geofabrik.de.

You'll find the stuff on ftp5.gwdg.de:/pub/misc/openstreetmap. (Updates
are currently run once a day so don't rely on the hourly/minutely files
from there.)
