I actually removed the link to the Google definition search for the key
template last minute (see diff

as part of a gradual tidy up.  I've done the same now for the KeyDescription
infobox template.

Indeed. Defining how the tag should be used (or rather, has generally been
used) on OSM is the whole point of the wiki page. Linking to a Wikipedia
page which has more information on snow sheds might be useful for those who
aren't sure what one is, but I don't think the idea of calling anything a
'definition' is very helpful.
