[OSM-talk] How do you easily add a location pointer to maps on main website?

Well,
BigTinCan maps does too. can make an arrow to point on the map.

.. it can also show different map renderings..

(i needed to right click and save email address to get it to copy)
Although the directions are only for Australia & New Zealand
... but it's not on the main website, so it doesn't really answer the OP
question :)
