[OSM-talk] Mapping the spill

Negative thinking aside, just listing WHERE it is, is important to know.

Zooming out, its easy to keep 'close' as that is all thats needed,
using whatever imagery is available.

We have unlimited crowd source, who can map anything anywhere. And it
is 'stuck to the ground'. And we can also help the responders focus on
areas that need to be protected.

This is a perminant area transformation like a 'volcano lava flow'.
Where the area will be a perminant sedement area, and needs to be
known.

Does anyone know if it is already being mapped?
