[OSM-talk] Query regarding GSoC

Hi,

I am Kuber Mehrotra and I will be applying for Google Summer of Code this
year.

I am interested in developing a mapping tool for mobile phones (project
listed here<http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/GSoC_Project_Ideas_2011#Develop_a_Simple_Mapping_Tool_for_Mobile_Phones>).
I had a query regarding this project, is this tool supposed to be a
standalone tool or an add-on feature for some existing OSM application.
