What kind of features? Map viewing, navigation, OSM editing? Data
collection?
I also use OsmAnd for map viewing and navigation. You can get nightly builds
from http://osmand.net any time for free. What you get for paying for
OsmAnd+ is frequent automatic updates via the android market.
I also use Vespucci for performing surveys on my phone and uploading
directly to OSM. But you have to be very familiar with OSM before it will
make much sense. Also, it has kind of a serious bug that can lead to
misplaced tags and tagless objects being uploaded.
I've also played a little with OsmTracker for collecting data for later
processing.
