There are 89 countries who recognized Kosovo (e.g. the USA, UK,
Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Australia, ...) and it has joined the
International Monetary Fund and World Bank. Serbia sought in 2008 an
advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on the
legality under international law of Kosovo's declaration of
independence. The ICJ released the advisory opinion in July 2010
affirming that Kosovo's declaration of independence did not violate
general principles of international law, UN Security Council
Resolution 1244, or the Constitutive Framework. The opinion was
closely tailored to Kosovo's unique history and circumstances. (from
CIA Worldfactbook,

).
Nice, but you failed to mention that Kosovo i Metohija still did not get
status of independent state. I understand that you like it to be
independent and you support them in such manner, but it will not be
independent until it is officially recognized as such.
Using CIA as source is not serious. Kosova i Metohija is in this messy
status exactly because of US politics. Yes, Us does not hid that it
fully support independence od Kosovo i Metohija and it is not strange
that US administration will do whatever is in its power to make
impression that it is a fact.
After all, have you noticed that even CIA shows map of Kosovo i Metohija
where Serbian language is used and not ignored or hidden as it is case
with OSM map of Kosovo i Metohija?
