The folks of Elphel famous for a camera of a certain 360 image project
of a minor search engine. Will be presenting their new camera at
Siggraph. <http://blog.elphel.com/2012/07/elphel-at-siggraph-2012/>

They asked me if anyone of the OpenStreetMap will be there, because
all their software and background maps are basically OpenStreetMap and
they wouldn't mind to contribute back (think in traces, images etc.).
All their designs, hardware and software is basically open source,
while this is maybe a think you cannot build at home in this quality,
it is reusable.
