Please define what "consensus" is in a valid way that can be checked for
sure in non-subjective way.
You dislike me personally. You tell me I will be banned. You will never say
"there is consensus on this upload". You give yourself right to make final
decision what is good and what is right.
I think I have this right too. But both of us are wrong. We can not
co-exist in project when we both have such rights at the same time. Ich
will not go away from project. Ich hope you will not too. You are good
after all.
We need way to decide what is good and what is not. This way must be
irreversible (you can not ban me if some body says after a year "that was
bad edit"), proveable (I can attach link to some discussion to changeset to
not get banned), time-limited (I can upload something at all before end of
universe).

Ich listen to your suggestions.
My is that "no public valid suggestions on improvement of change set within
limited amount of time, announced in advance".
Sample valid suggestions:
- check with SRTM (Lynn W. Deffenbaugh (Mr), Phil Endecott)
- make table of contents for overview (Tobias Knerr)
- host changes not on google drive (Paul Norman, Phil Endecott)
- increase time frame for review (Willi)
- present changes to tag values in overview better (SomeoneElse, Tobias
Knerr)
- create wiki page with list of uploads (Paul Norman).
Sample invalid suggestions:
- "all mechanical edits suck"
- "proposed change sucks" (without listing what to improve)
- "go read beginner mapper guide"
- repeating the above multiple times in reply to any letter by the same
person.
Invalid suggestions are needed to keep discussion and atmosphere of mailing
list. But they make proposed edit no better. Can be repeated endlessly. Can
kill any initiative. Giving you false reason to ban me. That is why I
propose to ignore them.
I will not upload the published change set. I will prepare better one.
Check with SRTM. Add "source:ele=SRTM" tag if it matches with reasonable
deviation. Delete "ele" if not match. Provide for review before upload.
You can still make review on this edit if you have free time. Or you can
wait until I prepare better one. I listen to suggestions while preparing it.
