not few of them use the $ as symbol though, it doesn’t necessarily stand for USD.

Personally, I would prefer ¥€$, it’s iconic and has currency symbols from three continents in it.

PS: Are people still using bureaux de change? I thought they’d either get local money from an atm or pay with credit card.
