The computer I normally run JOSM on right now is a very old Toshiba
laptop with a 2.2GHz Celeron processor and 8 gigabytes of RAM. The trees
do not noticeably slow down JOSM. If they slow down iD, that's an issue
with iD, not the map data; I've seen maps much more detailed than this.
