[OSM-talk] ESRI Tile Age/Metadata Imagery Layer

Hi,

I'm searching for a tool/imagery that can create a transparent imagery 
layer for ESRI World Imagery (Clarity) that renders the data from the 
location tool.

As this Imagery is basically a mosaique of different orthophoto sources, 
the tiles are old or fresh.

I hope I can superimpose the normal ESRI World Imagery Layer with at 
least the "date" of the origiating Tile in JOSM. This should enable me 
(and hopefully others) to reason if data is in or not in OSM, if the 
data is older or newer that that part of the imagery.

Does something like this already exist? (Maybe for other Imageries)
(I don't have experience with metadata requests to arcgis)
