[OSM-talk] Is edit adding private dataset created specially for OSM considered an import or not?

I agree. Talk. Not escalate to talk about revert directly as is done now in the wikipage.
Mateusz would you be willing to edit out the text about revert and make it less confrontational overall? Would you bw qilling to makw it clear that we as a community are very happy to get highly valuable contributions from and collaborate with this organization?
I also sometimes end up acting harsher than what is needed to find a peaceful cooperative solution. In this case I don't think there is any intent of harm. They are trying their best but might need some help or training.
Would you be willing to help show them in a video conference call with shared screen what you would like them to do before uploading again? I assume they have something going on and this is just the first delivery.
If you open up and make your valuable time and expertise available they might accept. 😉
JOSM is a quite complex program and they might not know how we want it done to work long term for everyone.
I tried getting UN map data before and failed, this might turn into a very fruitful collaboration. 😃
Also I want to share a tip I got somewhere. If you want someone to behave differently, start by thanking them for trying their best...
