[OSM-talk] Persian/Arabian Gulf Tagging

hey Frederik,
Although the Arabic name is the most used on the land and most of the coasts, and despite the systematic sabotage by the other party and the attempt to impose the opinion by force, we may accept that the name tag is empty and the English name contains the two names A/B or empty and make the Arabic name: الخليج العربي
And Iranian society must also be rejecting any future sabotage operations, as many of the sabotage operations that took place on Saudi Arabia were known to the Iranian community’s Telegram group at the time of their occurrence and did nothing to reverse or denounce them, not even to comment on those changes, and some of the sabotage operations were delayed for several weeks. It was possible to discuss, politely, without threat and without sabotage, and sabotage will not solve an issue.

thank you and best regards
Abdullah Abdulrhman

Hi,

I have just reverted yet another unilateral edit to the Gulf relation.

I think it might be best to simply remove the name tag from it
altogehter. Then it will not be shown on the openstreetmap.org map which
isn't a big issue (many other water bodies are also not shown), and
anyone making their own map can choose which name:xx tag they prefer and
display that.

Bye
Frederik
