Air is a mix of mainly three gases, and in the context that  Martin has in
mind certainly not liquid.

On the other hand some of the outlet tipes you describe are used on ati and
liquid outlets.
I see no problem adding gas, or at least air to the proposal. We do that
already with pipelines.
