sure, sidewalk=* is important information for pedestrians. If you are
looking for examples where "no" would seem almost as helpful as no
information, an example could be motorroad=no on roads in general, and
particularly on roads which are not trunk, primary or seconday. Many
attribute=no should not generally be set, bridge=no, luminous=no,
covered=no, bicycle_road=no, barrier=no, etc.  but we cannot state any "no"
should be omitted, and even for those tags where we believe that no should
be generally omitted, there may be specific situations where there is
benefit from a "no"-tag.
