Hi Folks,
That's a NO from me - the island doesn't exist so it should not be in OSM.
The Buoy does exist so that should stay (whilst it is still in place)
Cheers - Phil

Subject: [OSM-talk] Was the deletion of Null Island reasonable?
Good evening, everyone,
This is a little outdated, yes, but debate has just sparked in the OSM World
Discord server about a deletion of something, some might consider the base
of everything: Null Island (Node #9028040143).
This has already been discussed a little on changeset #110097966, the
creation of the Null Island node, though I feel this needs to be discussed
more, as this can apply to other things as well.
I personally think, fictional stuff such as Null Island should be kept:
* It has a Wikipedia page
* German semi-educational TV show Galileo once covered it
* It is in many other datasets
* We also have Node #2327750884
What do you all think? Should Null Island be kept? Please, let everyone
know!
-Emil
