For example I removed claim that mapping POIs without dedicated
GPS device is impossible.
I removed it because it is (1) wrong (2) many wiki pages have
such outdated claims dating back to times where having dedicated
GPS device was crucial.
Is Lithuanian community (or you) banning mapping POIs by people
without dedicated GPS receivers?
Do you REALLY think that closing notes made by user
https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/SandraREGIU/notes
required GPS receiver?
I also removed claim that highway=* road lines are not created for each
lane because that it would make bot edits harder (this claim was not even
present on Lithuanian version of page there AND was highly misleading,
highway=* lines are not for each lane because they are for carriageways
and Lithuania is not special here at all)
See

for full history.
BTW, if you loudly comment that evil things are happening it is normal
that people start inspecting what is happening.
Starting threads on global mailing list is likely to result in people from abroad
appearing in things one discussed.
And yes, they may disagree with you.
