A few comments on name tags:

The "name:xx" tags are not there for translations - they are there to
record names that things have in different languages.

For example, "Pont Neuf" in Paris translates as "New Bridge", but the
English name for this bridge is still "Pont Neuf". No speaker of English
would say they've been to Paris and they saw the "New Bridge". Anyone,
well-meaning as they may be, adding a "name:en=Pont Neuf" to that bridge
damages OSM and makes it the laughing stock of those with actual
knowledge of the issue.

Please be aware of these rules when adding "name:uk" tags - they are
only to be used if something actually has an Ukrainian name, they are
not to be used for translations that a well-meaning person made up with
the help of a dictionary without any knowledge about the situation.

There's only one sort of name:xx tag that is worse than an unwarranted
translation, and that's a descriptive name:xx tag. If, for example,
someone were to add the Ukrainian word for "police station" as a name
tag to an amenity=police somewhere, that would clearly be wrong and
deserves to be reverted immediately.

I appreciate the desire to come up with ways to help Ukraine, but if we
want to help with maps, then let us help with GOOD maps and keep up the
quality standards that we adhere to elsewhere. Don't make shitty maps
for Ukrainians just because they don't object - they probably have other
things on their minds right now.

Bye
Frederik
