Thank you, I welcome this initiative, in my mapping I also express the
status of drinking water sources with prefixes (namely "disused:" for ones
that look working but dry (turned off), and "abandoned:" for those that
look broken / abandoned), and frequently finding several alternative
methods with additional tags like disused=yes, operational_status=broken
and similar has been an issue for me as well. I also encourage you to add
pictures to the features, as it can be helpful for people with specific
needs (I often see "wheelchair" tags but I do not put them myself because I
am not sure which items meet the requirements).
