One example is:

Here the service way "Kirchgasse" clashes with the POI lable "Fishraeucherei Balbach". "Kirchgasse" is entirely within the 128px buffer-size of both tiles and neither lable clashes with any other lable to cause cascading lable placement. As those lables shouldn't be affected by anything other than them selves and they are possibly on different mapnik layers, can the sorting order really effect this example?
