Great, that reflects my experiences - large errors particularly exist in southern Sweden and Finland:

But also elsewhere:

As further example you can also find the geometries of all water areas not processed by libosmium processed with https://github.com/imagico/osmium/tree/multipolygons-fix

on http://www.imagico.de/files/waterareas_error.db.gz

which includes geometries current osm2pgsql fails with like here http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=7/67.902/123.563

All in all not a big deal, this can be handled and should be handled but it is big enough a problem so that it cannot be simply ignored.
