[Tile-serving] [openstreetmap/osm2pgsql] osm2pgsql JIT compatible? (#882)

Just a small question: is osm2pgsql (v0.96) compatible with PostgreSQL 11's new JIT functionality? I think it likely is, since as far as I understand it, JIT should be transparent to any application using the database, and not require changes. 

I am just asking since I experienced a virtual machine lock-up after attempting to load Europe with JIT enabled on a PostgreSQL 11.1 / PostGIS 2.5.0 database on Ubuntu 18.04. I think it actually highly likely this was not caused by JIT nor osm2pgsql, but another type of failure, but it would be nice to hear if anyone already successfully managed to run a similar setup.
