I was a bit sceptic at first, but didn't see anything particularly wrong
with it, and the tiles are smaller when transparent, but since I never
used Maplint in lower zooms it did not occur to me that this might be a
problem (although I had some nagging bad feeling about making maplint an
overlay).

While you could make maplint transparent only for high zooms I, too,
think we should switch back to the old ways because then you can update
areas with no errors consistently again without having to set
"RenderFullTileset" for maplint.

However the experience gained will not be for naught, because someday we
will want to have other overlays...
